 The minui HandySitt High Chair for kids 6 months — 5 years old is made up of two separately sold parts. When combined, the minui HandySitt Chair and Portable Seat form a freestanding high chair.

 

 When detached, the Chair is a seat for older kids and a sturdy step stool, and the Portable Seat is ideal for taking to restaurants or grandma’s house.  Simply place the HandySitt™ Portable Seat atop your own chair, hook it onto the chair’s back and tighten the safety strap beneath the main chair’s seat for a secure fit.  It brings together the comfort and stylishness of a full-sized booster chair with the portability and convenience of a portable booster seat.

A safe and elegant high chair requiring a minimum of space and always ensuring the child a comfortable seat at the table. Despite actually consisting of two parts: Portable Seat and Chair, the HandySitt High Chair appears as a piece of cast-in-one furniture.  Here’s how they ingeniously connect and disconnect.

 

Powerful magnets hidden in the wood of the Chair connect to the metal arms of the Portable Seat. To engage, the seat is just dropped into place. To disengage, grip an upright on the Chair with one hand, and with the other pull firmly (up and towards the front of the high chair) on the hook of the Portable Seat.

 

 

Small metal clips at the front of the Chair flip up to secure the feet of the Portable Seat. When using the Chair on its own, they can be flipped down and out of the way.

The HandySitt High Chair has a foot print that is similar to that of a normal dining chair; and it has been designed with four real chair legs. Accordingly there are no odd materials at floor level that you will bump your toes against or trip over. An exclusive piece of furniture made in Europe from solid FSC certified birch. The high chair is available in natural birch, dark antique or black lacquered finish.

The minui HandySitt High Chair has been tested in accordance with the most recent European safety standard for high chairs: EN-14988:2006. This approval is only valid when the Back Support has been fitted correctly and when either the Safety Bar or the 5-point harness is being used as restraint system for the child.
